Legal Guardian Authorization

1. When this authorization is given

This authorization is given in the registration, through the Race Result platform (operated by Ayan Labs, CNPJ 66.418.458/0001-73), of a participant who, on the date of the event, is younger than the age of majority of the event's country (18 in Brazil). It is given by the minor's guardian, who provides their full name, relationship, mobile phone, email and, when the event's country requires it, identity document.

In a registration through the platform, the guardian confirms this authorization by checking the corresponding option and completing the registration, and the acceptance is recorded with the version of this text, the date, the time and the language. When the organizer is the one who enters the registration (manually or by spreadsheet), the organizer declares having collected the authorization, and the guardian may confirm it later, through the ticket link.

2. Guardian's declarations

By giving this authorization, the guardian declares that:

1. they are the minor's parent or legal guardian, or an adult authorized by them to make the registration and accompany the minor at the event;
2. they authorize the registration and the participation of the minor in the event, in the chosen course and category;
3. they have read the event rules and the terms it requires and accept them on the minor's behalf, representing a minor under 16 and assisting a minor aged 16 or 17;
4. the information about the minor and about themselves given in the registration is true;
5. they are aware of the platform's Privacy Policy (raceresult.app/en/legal/privacy/v1) and of how the minor's data and their own are processed, as described in section 3.

The organizer may ask, at the race kit pickup or at the event, for a document proving the guardian status or the authorization of the parents or legal guardian.

3. Data of the minor and of the guardian

The data of the minor and of the guardian is processed for the registration, the timing and the result of the event, in the minor's best interest (art. 14 of Brazilian Law no. 13.709/2018, the LGPD), as explained in the Privacy Policy. In particular:

1. the event organizer receives the registration data, including the guardian's, to run the event, and the check-in team sees the guardian's name and mobile phone;
2. the registration emails (confirmation, ticket, payment and result) go to the guardian's email and to the registration's contact email, if they are different; when the registration is linked by the document to a record of the minor that already existed, the confirmation also goes to that record's main email, with the "it wasn't me" link to dispute it, and, if someone tries to register again the minor who is already registered, the notice of the existing registration goes to that registration's contact email and to the record's main email, also with this link;
3. in the public results and in the public list of entrants, the minor's name appears only as initials, and the date of birth is not published;
4. a contact that belongs only to the minor never receives marketing communications; the communication choices in the registration apply to the guardian's email;
5. the platform does not collect photos or videos of the minor; the use of images at the event follows the organizer's rules and the law;
6. the guardian's details are anonymized 3 years after the event, and the minor's document is deleted 3 years after the last event they registered for as a minor.

4. Guardian's account

The guardian's account is linked to the minor as guardian, to follow the minor's registrations in the Athlete area, when the guardian is signed in to their account while registering a minor who did not yet have a record on the platform, or when they request the link in the Athlete area (Add dependent), proving that the account's email is verified in the minor's record or was the guardian email in one of the minor's registrations. This link ends automatically when the minor reaches the age of majority.

5. Cancellation, rights and language

The guardian may ask the organizer to cancel the registration, according to the event rules, and exercise the minor's rights and their own as data subjects through the channels of the Privacy Policy (contato@raceresult.com.br).
